Vodacom Tanzania has expanded its 5G network to include Arusha and Dodoma, joining Dar es Salaam as locations with active 5G services. The expansion targets approximately 230 locations across the country, including other cities like Mwanza, Iringa, and Zanzibar. Vodacom aims to offer fixed-wireless access and mobile services through 5G routers and 5G-capable smartphones, initially with speeds up to 400Mbps and eventually up to 800Mbps, with potential for 1Gbps once the full 5G spectrum is available.

Vodacom is expanding its 5G network beyond Dar es Salaam to include Arusha, Dodoma, Mwanza, Iringa, Kagera, Zanzibar, and Mbeya.
